Not recommended / Stay away

I have booked a car insurance with them via check24 an everything worked well until they decided to increase the premium without providing any additional information. After reading similar reviews here (especially for contracts also booked through check24) I think this may be actually a pattern. They seem to be offering smaller offers via the portal then after the 14 days (cancellation period) they suddently increase the insurance.
In my case it gets even more crazy: they increased my insurance after my car was already deregistered, claiming i need to pay additional amounts after my contract ended, even threatening with Inkasso (debt collecting) for an amount of 30 euros.
I have sent them more emails and documents supporting my case but service(at)admiraldirekt.com is not replying or even confirming is someting is submitted to them.

I recommend avoiding them; don't even want to imagine what happenes in case of an accident when you actually need help and cannot reach anyone.
From my point of view it is just wasted money having an insurance with them.

Waiting time for e scooter plate 🫨

I have applied for a e scooter insurance and still now I didn’t received my e scooter number plate . And i have been waiting and waiting….🫨. And im late for work every day . Because I’m unable to use my scooter 🛴.

I have tried contacting them multiple…

I have tried contacting them multiple times through both email and their call center, but received no response. I’ve been waiting for days just to get confirmation on whether I can revoke my contract. Insurance is meant to provide support in cases of accidents or damages, not to be a frustrating and unresponsive process. This service feels like paying for nothing. Extremely unprofessional.

I tried to contact them several times but they didn’t answer me (email and call centre). I am waiting 3 weeks to get my Evb number. I never expected this. I give 1 star for the bad service. Unprofessional

The customer care never answered me

I gave them the 3 stars because at the end the insurance configurator works perfectly

Terrible customer service

I booked car insurance with AdmirakDirekt via Check24. When I finally received documentation from AdmirakDirekt I noticed the price had gone up from 70 to over 100 Euro, for the same service. I attempted to email, I used their messaging platform, I tried to call. In no case did I get any answer.
I finally made use of the option to Recall (Widerruf) the insurance. Again, at AdmiralDirekt I simply received no communication. I finally submitted the recall via CHeck24, who have been supportive. Still however, in the Admiral Direct portal the contract is listed as active. A nightmare company to deal with!!!

Absolute catastrophe

Absolute catastrophe. If customer service was even offered, there is no chance to actually speak with someone. AI online can’t answer questions, AI on the phone says the waiting time is too long and directly hangs up. Another number had me wait 20 minutes only to be directed to a phone number in which someone answers, says nothing, and then hangs up 5 seconds later. Worthless service. What happens when it’s not just a service question but rather an accident? Unbelievable.

This insurance company is a money…

This insurance company is a money hogger. They are scammers so please stay away from them. I am trapped atm. I signed up to this insurance for 462 € in December of 2020 and in February of 2021, I got a message from AdmiralDirekt stating my SF class is wrong so they will increase by 30 €. It was really disapointing as when I applied to this insurance through check24, I have entered all my details correctly. This was ok but now comes the most annoying part. I recently moved to another city and during the zulassungs, I had to call the company to get my eVB nummer. When I called them to get this, the customer service rep updated my details but didnt tell me they will also increase the Kfz-haftpflichtversicherung and Voll-inkl Teilkaskoversicherung to the insurance. Yesterday, i got a new document with the increased price. They decided to increase the premium by 60 €. I originally signed up to pay 462 € and now i am paying 562 €.
I am really disapointed with the fact, the customer rep didnt even have the courstey to tell they would change the premium rates when you move, just sending an invoice with increased premium rate is totally UNPROFESSIONAL.
I will never signup to this company and never recommend anyone to do so.
Today when i called the customer to explain the increase, the guy just blamed me saying its my fault i moved cities and didnt ask the company when i made the freaking contract. Go to hell !!!
On top of all this, their customer care is really rude if you dont speak German and often you have to wait for 10-15 min before someone is on the line.

Stole my money - worst customer service ever

I booked an insurance for my car which was a bit more than 800 Euro. A month later they take of over 1100 Euro from my account... The "lady" from the customer service didn't let me finish one sentence and didn't want to help, even though I had my insurance last year also with them. She said that it's my fault and I should have checked my online portal on their site. I didn't even know I have one???
Probably the worst customer service I ever had and definitely the last year with this company!
I you don't want to be cheated than you should avoid this "company"!!!

Service and Response time

Honestly...the best, Friendly, fastest service...super amazing how quick the response time was (30mins) after my car broke down, picked up from the autobahn and got a replacement vehicle...without breaking a sweat....i will recommended this insurance any day any time.... 100% 6 stars

AdmiralDirekt there just Cheaters in another words they are only here to take your money nothing else i would prefer this insurance to anyone out there.
Customer services is rude they don't know nothing i think they are from the street with no education talking like ****.
Admiral if you wanna find me you can find me i know you can, so i would be happy, you do that so i can involve media on you guys how your destroying people's life with your laying when is nothing on your benefits.

Do not trust them - fine until you want to change company

We took out insurance with Admiral in 2017 at SF3.
In 2018 we renewed for another year.
In 2019 the renewal price went up significantly so we decided to move insurance company.

Our renewal offer from Admiral quoted SF5 - based on starting at SF3 with 2 years additional and no accidents.

We used SF5 as a base for finding new insurance quotes.
After we moved to a new insurance company they told that Admiral advised we were SF1.

After contacting Admiral they told us "We have a special Admiral class that applies if you stay with us only so when you leave you are not SF5".

This is not made clear anywhere by Admiral and even if the SF5 is a special Admiral class we should not be reset to SF1 when we leave them because we joined Admiral at SF3 so this should be the minimum we go back to.

Now we have to pay an additional €150 to our new insurance company because Admiral refuse to advise we are anything but SF1.

We will be making a complaint to the insurance ombundsman and will tell everyone to avoid Admiral and their deceptions.

2018 verlängerten wir um ein weiteres Jahr.
Im Jahr 2019 stieg der Erneuerungspreis erheblich, sodass wir beschlossen, die Versicherungsgesellschaft zu verlegen.

In unserem Erneuerungsangebot von Admiral wurde SF5 angegeben - basierend auf SF3 mit 2 Jahren zusätzlich und ohne Unfälle.

Wir haben SF5 als Basis für die Suche nach neuen Versicherungsangeboten verwendet.
Nachdem wir zu einer neuen Versicherungsgesellschaft gewechselt waren, teilten sie Admiral mit, dass wir SF1 seien.

Nachdem sie sich mit Admiral in Verbindung gesetzt hatten, sagten sie uns: "Wir haben eine spezielle Admiral-Klasse, die gilt, wenn Sie nur bei uns bleiben, wenn Sie gehen, sind Sie nicht SF5."

Dies wird von Admiral nirgends klargestellt, und selbst wenn es sich bei der SF5 um eine spezielle Admiral-Klasse handelt, sollten wir nicht auf SF1 zurückgesetzt werden, wenn wir sie verlassen, da wir bei SF3 zu Admiral gestoßen sind. Dies sollte also das Minimum sein, zu dem wir zurückkehren.

Jetzt müssen wir unserer neuen Versicherungsgesellschaft zusätzlich 150 € zahlen, weil Admiral sich weigert, mitzuteilen, dass wir alles andere als SF1 sind.

Wir werden eine Beschwerde beim Versicherungsombund einreichen und jedem raten, Admiral und seinen Täuschungen auszuweichen.

Dabei handelte es sich um eine Sondereinstufung: Nur die tatsächliche SF-Klasse wurden an den Nachversicherer übergeben, nicht aber die Sondereinstufung.
