A ‘Licensed Doctor’ Who Can’t Show His License Think About That

Update.

Their reply says a lot without actually answering anything. Claiming “confidentiality” to avoid license verification is not true those records are public by law in Turkey.

Transparency isn’t an attack it’s the bare minimum. Don’t let anyone use silence or intimidation to stop you from asking basic safety questions.

I asked FlyMedi (Yagmur) for the doctor’s official Ministry of Health license number or registration. She said she’d check and get back to me. The next day, she told me the doctor said he cannot share his documents for “safety purposes.”

That honestly shocked me what kind of licensed doctor says that? It immediately made me question if he’s even authorized to perform surgery.

After that, they only sent a “Health Tourism Authorization Certificate,” which applies to clinics, not surgeons. It still didn’t prove that the doctor was personally licensed.

When I asked for a refund, FlyMedi refused and later tried to have my Trustpilot review removed instead of answering my questions.

Anyone thinking of booking with them do your research. Don’t fall for it. I do not recommend this company. Worst experience ever. I will get my refund through my bank by all means. I’m not worried about that. But please, people, be careful. This company is playing with your health, not just your money.

In Türkiye, doctors’ personal license numbers are confidential as they are directly linked to their prescription authority within the national healthcare system. Therefore, it is illegal to publicly share or distribute a doctor’s license number for privacy and security reasons. However, every surgeon we work with is fully authorized and registered with the Turkish Ministry of Health, and all procedures are carried out in licensed and inspected medical facilities holding a valid Health Tourism Authorization Certificate.

Your statements misrepresent both our company and the legal framework governing medical practice in Türkiye. For this reason, we are consulting with our legal team and initiating the necessary proceedings regarding this misleading and defamatory review.
