We purchased online advance tickets for the Accademia museum in Florence. When we presented the QR at the museum entry it turned out these did not represent real tickets. Instead we had to track down a man in a yellow vest amongst the thick crowd at the museum entrance in order for him to give us an actual ticket.
In the fine print of the “ticket” we purchased online we were indeed informed of having to get a real ticket at the entrance. However, this was not obvious and was not how the “ticket” was represented when we purchased it.
Given the high markup we paid for this “ticket” vs the cost of buying it directly from the museum we feel taken advantage of. If the Ufizzi website had been viable at the time we would have gotten online tickrts there.
We won’t use Tiqets again.
