Great Platform with a Few Challenges
Overall, my experience with Whop has been amazing. The platform is easy to use, offers solid tools for managing my business, and has helped me grow my customer base across the world.
The only issues I’ve faced are related to taxes and fees. As someone with international customers, many of them are confused or frustrated by the additional taxes added during checkout — especially since digital tax laws vary so much by country. I’ve also found that the combination of platform fees and processing fees can add up quickly.
I understand that Whop has to comply with international regulations, and I appreciate their effort to do things the right way. It would just be great to have more flexibility or support when it comes to managing taxes and fees globally.
Still, I recommend Whop to other digital sellers — just be prepared to communicate clearly with your customers about pricing and taxes.
