From buyer to seller
I have been a buyer from Thredup for many years. Overall I have been satisfied with them. I have received items with unlisted stains, holes and funky smells that I just throw away or donate. I decided to try them out from the selling side. I sent in 4 bags which I included only great condition items. 2 of the items they rejected were based on them saying they were a different brand then they were. One was a Brass Plum brand from Nordstrom that they called a Walmart brand. The other was a Lucky Brand jacket they they said was Faded Glory brand from Walmart. Can't they read a label?? They also rejected a pair of Adriano Goldschmied jeans but gave no reason. I was meticulous in only including things that were in great condition so I know there was nothing wrong with the jeans which happened to be one of the higher price items I included. Then you only get pennies on the dollar because of fees and sale prices. I will not use them again to sell anything. I will either sell it myself or donate locally.

We can see that you have ordered standard bags and the option to have unaccepted items returned is not included with these types of Clean Outs. If you would like to try and sell with us again in the future, we recommend selecting a Premium Clean Out to have the option to have unaccepted items returned.
