Scam-Like Payroll Practices, Don’t Trust Gusto Ever DON'T USE THIER SERVICE!!!!!!

For all employees—especially international employees—who need an online payroll provider: AVOID GUSTO. RUN AND DON’T USE IT!

They withheld my payment and kept replying with the same email templates, saying they were “investigating the issue” without ever providing a real solution. My payment was marked as paid but never arrived in my account.

Customer service keeps giving vague excuses to avoid responsibility, instead of fixing the problem. It really looks like they are scamming people by holding payment money, blaming the system, and hiding behind empty phrases like “rest assured, we care and are investigating this issue.”

You will lose time and money dealing with their poor system and unhelpful customer service. They withhold employees’ money and blame “the system” as an excuse to avoid responsibility.

Don’t use Gusto—ever!
