I had the worst experience transferring…

I had the worst experience transferring pensions from another provider to Nest. It took months - mainly due to a lack of consistency in terms of who was dealing with the matter on any given day. I'd be given actions to complete - like completing a document I'd already sent weeks before. I suspect on simpler cases where the systems can talk to each other, it would have been more straightforward a process (my pension was old and it wasn't possible to transfer via the linked systems) but that's no excuse for the lack of continuity with cases. Assign a dedicated person to a case and let them work it through would be my advice.
