Review of ThredUp

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. I sent them a bag of high quality items in excellent condition (Theory, North Face, Emporio Armani etc) and they just listed one non brand item. They sent me a note that my items don’t qualify for their resale standards. I was very surprised to see my items listed for sale. And I was told they are being donated. Stay away!!! Sell on eBay or Poshmark. Or if you have high end brand real real. This ThredUp is a total scam and rip off

Hi Katherine,

We completely understand how disappointing it can be when items are not accepted, and we truly empathize with your experience. We always aim to provide a positive experience for our customers, and we regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

At ThredUp, we want every seller to feel informed and confident, which is why we clearly outline how our payouts and processing work in our Selling Guide. We always recommend considering a premium kit if you think you might want any items back that are not accepted, as there is no guarantee until they are evaluated at our facility.

Please let us know if you any other questions or concerns regarding your bag, we are here to provide any additional information. Thank you! www.thredup.com/contact
