Greedy company
If I could give a 0 I would.
I have used Spotify for many years and only changed for a short while when I had a free trial with another streaming provider. I returned 15 months ago.
Now I have been wondering why I had a PayPal and Spotify payment on my bank transactions just days apart and thought it was a glitch. It’s come to my attention that a completely inactive account has been charged every month for 15 months (£179.85 in total) alongside my religiously active account (also paying £179.85). I’ve proven the account was inactive all that time, I’ve proven every double payment. And all I was given was 3 months free.
£35.97 refund from a £179.85 bill for services I did not use.
The company are big enough to employ a scanning system for inactive accounts and instead of doing so to establish who isn’t accessing the services they’ve opted for greed and have continued (and would have continued) to receive payments for absolutely nothing!!
Shame on such a large company.
