I am a MMT black platinum customer and have booked a property Janz Eden Bay under the booking id NH73042430551540 on 10th to 12th October trusting MakeMyTrip. To my surprise the hotel is under renovation and couldnot able to provide me a room for my upcoming trip. Hence I raised a concern to customer care. They took 2 hours to validate that the hotel is really undergoing serious renovation issues and it won't be possible to accommodate. But still the property is sellable at front-end and this is totally unacceptable. A property which is under construction or renovation can't be showcased as sellable. Screenshot attached FYR. One customer care associate in the name of Sankalp Singh tried connecting with me for suggesting alternate property and I want to take up the room as suggested below by your call center staff. Hotel Trigon is what I require and I have asked him to proceed further with my booking. Customer Care came back to me saying this property is not reachable and I took initiative by asking him to be placed on hold and took the website number of the hotel as it matches in Google as well. He later told me sir as we tried it's still unreachable so we can't validate google number. This is pathetic. All they were keen to again provide a dirty hotel as an alternate and to make me suffer. Later one more customer care agent said that we will refund entire amount of Rs. 12848/- and you book a hotel which is Rs. 10000 extra and we will refund you 10000 post checkout. How can I take this as a consideration where the team failed in all the aspect to provide an alternate. How can they bluntly cheat like this? Defintely if I don't get any resolution by end of the day I am going to escalate it to the next level. The horrible part is still the rejected property is selling rooms in your MakeMyTrip platform.
