While the process was frustrating at first, I appreciate that Mint followed through and resolved the issue. The service itself has been fine, and I’m glad this was corrected.
I referred a friend on 8/21 using my Mint referral link. Neither of us received the promised credit. I’ve since spent over an hour on calls with multiple reps and a supervisor. Each time I was given a different excuse: no record of a referral, wait longer than advertised, wrong plan (though Mint’s website shows no plan restrictions). Two reps even tried to offer me $5–$10 instead of honoring the full credit.
This is misleading advertising and dishonest treatment of customers. Mint should apply the full referral credit as advertised. Until they do, I cannot recommend this company.
