Two same day orders - different outcomes
I bought a Sony 200-600 from einfinity. The transaction and experience was as smooth as can be. Was with me within roughly a week - well packaged, well protected and in mint arrival condition.
Same cannot be said for an order which my wife placed on the same day (26/8/2025) just 30 minutes earlier for an A 7RV. On 27/8 order was processed. Ever since that day no tracking was provided and each time we email einfinity the reply is that they have to send the parcel to a dispatch centre (I guess some kind of freight forwarding) before DHL.
I believe that, there is some kind of way for them to contact this ‘forwarder’ and ask for an update?
Updated 10/9/2025 - Camera detained at French customs as advised by einfinity. Replacement offered by einfinity. My wife accepted.
