Scamming Company

I paid £3,800 to World Land Travels in December for 4 airline tickets to Nigeria. The money was transferred to their Lloyds Bank account. Out of 4 tickets, only ONE was ever issued – the other 3 never appeared (outstanding £2967).

My wife, daughter, and sister-in-law were due to travel on 18th December, but Mr Khan never issued their tickets. Instead he issued multiple tickets that were invalidated when we checked them on line. He lied that the numbers was wrong, but did not know we called the airline, who commented that the ticket is not a scam. Mr Khan, proceeded to dodge my calls, fed my wife daily excuses, and demanded an extra £3,000 on top of what was already paid. When I pressed him to meet at his “office,” he refused – and no wonder. The address he gave is a derelict, abandoned house.

This is not an isolated incident. Looking at other reviews, the same pattern of fraud is clear: take money, issue one ticket (if any), and keep the rest. This is not incompetence – it’s a scam.

👉 @Trustpilot – Please investigate and suspend this company’s profile.
👉 @LloydsBank – You are hosting an account being used for fraud. Do the right thing and protect consumers.
👉 @ActionFraudUK and regulators – Multiple victims are reporting identical cases. Act now.
👉 @BBC – Help expose this fraudster and stop him from stealing from hardworking families.

This is my hard-earned money, stolen. World Land Travels is tarnishing the name of legitimate travel agents and destroying public trust. This company is fraudulent and must be shut down.

⚠️ Warning to consumers: Do not trust World Land Travels. They will take your money and provide no service.

⚠️ WARNING: FRAUDULENT COMPANY – DO NOT USE WORLD TRAVEL AND TOURS

⚠️ WARNING: FRAUDULENT COMPANY – DO NOT USE WORLD LAND TRAVELS ⚠️

I paid £3,800 to World Land Travels in December for 4 airline tickets to Nigeria. The funds were transferred via bank transfer to their Lloyds Bank account. Out of 4 tickets purchased, only ONE ticket was ever issued – the remaining 3 tickets are still outstanding, total of £2,900. We were supposed to travel on the 18th of December, they stopped picking my calls, I was so nervous and traumatised, by this experience.

In May 2025, following the bereavement of my mother-in-law, I unfortunately gave this company a further opportunity to prove themselves by issuing tickets from the outstanding money. Once again, they took the money and failed to provide either the ticket or a refund.

This establishes a clear pattern of fraudulent behaviour. World Land Travels is engaging in systematic misrepresentation and financial misconduct. From reviewing other complaints here on Trustpilot, it is evident that I am not alone – multiple victims have reported identical experiences of being defrauded.

This company is not merely incompetent – it is operating as a scam, and consumers must be warned. I have retained all transaction evidence and communications, and I am escalating this matter further to the following:

BBC (to bring wider media attention to this scam and assist in recovering funds)

I strongly urge Trustpilot to review the legitimacy of this company’s presence on this platform. Innocent consumers are losing thousands of pounds, and this fraudulent operation must be exposed and stopped.

Public warning: DO NOT transfer any money to this company. They will not provide the tickets or issue refunds. They are defrauding customers.
