Be careful. Not a total scam but they’re pushing their luck

I was quite shocked when I read these reviews. I had been using Bettervits probiotic for some time, buying them as I needed them. I had no complaints about the product or the speed of delivery. But then I spotted £75 taken from my bank account for a delivery that was on its way. I contacted the company to cancel the delivery and their customer services said it was too late to cancel but I could return the items for a full refund . They said they don’t sign customers up for subscriptions unless the customers request it and implied that I must have done so by accident. I believed them, sent the items back and received the refund very promptly. But having read these reviews, maybe it wasn’t down to my error. Hence the three stars - I did get the refund but it’s hard to justify so many reviewers being signed up to subscriptions without their knowledge. Also, even if you do have a subscription, they should warn you before sending the items, in time for you to cancel.

Excellent company, excellent products

I have used vegetology products for some time now. They are always good quality and arrive promptly. My reason for writing this review is that I had a query recently about one of their products and I was very impressed with the way it was handled by their customer services. They responded promptly with a friendly email offering advice and promising a full refund if that was what I preferred. I followed the advice, which worked and when I let them know, they replied again saying I could still have the refund if I changed my mind. It’s very refreshing to get such prompt and efficient help.

Don’t buy clothes from Susan Julie

I ordered a blouse from this company based on the photo on their Facebook advert. When it arrived it was clear that the photo had been altered by AI: you can’t roll up the sleeves as shown in the photo because it’s a print on cheap pale beige fabric, and the hemline is straight and not as shown.

Having read the reviews on Trustpilot (which I wish I had done first) I can’t face the battle that people have had in trying to get a refund or have their return postage paid. I’ll just put it down to experience and always check unknown brands on Trustpilot in future.
