Thought I’d drop a review here of my experience ordering from Fanatec as it seems these guys have gotten a bit of a bad wrap and I think it may be undeserved.

I’m UK based and ordered one of their Ready2Race bundles on Thursday just gone, it turned up the very next Monday which I was very impressed with for international shipping.

Based on what I’ve read online VAT is now charged at checkout rather than having to be paid when the package enters the country meaning that the whole process is much, much quicker now.

As for the equipment itself, I got it up and running on my sim rig yesterday, I’ve only used it for a couple hours but overall I’m very impressed with the quality.

Update: after getting in contact with customer service following my review below I’ve amended my review to reflect the outstanding customer service I received from Jenny & Shaira, whilst can’t quite give 5 stars as I did still have an issue with my case, I can say that because of how well they dealt with my issue I would still recommend them as a company.

“As someone who’s had Mous cases for years and has sworn by them as they genuinely do look the part, I must say I was very disappointed this morning when I dropped my iPhone 16 from a height of no more than 1.5m and the case just popped clean off the corner leaving me with a broken screen protector and a nasty gouge out the corner of the frame. Having checked, the corners of this case, especially those on the right hand side do pop off far too easily and if dropped at the wrong angle simply don’t provide the protection that you’d expect for a product costing upwards of £40.”
