🚨 WARNING
🚨 WARNING: Stay Away this Car Rentals! 🚨
If you’re booking a car rental through Expedia (or any third-party site) — BEWARE!
✅ Here’s what happened to us:
We booked our rental and we already had insurance, thinking we were covered.
At pickup, they told us our personal insurance wasn’t enough, even though it is!
They demanded a $1,000 deposit AND a copy of our full declaration page.
Then they said the only option was to buy their full insurance, even though we already had coverage.
We tried to cancel, but because it was part of a package, we were forced to pay for their overpriced insurance.
💰 Toll Trap Alert:
If you don’t pre-pay for toll coverage (about $5/day), they’ll charge you $25 per toll + the toll fee — even if it was accidental!
This setup is designed to confuse and trap travelers into paying way more at the counter.
⚠️ Avoid third-party bundles. Book direct with rental companies where terms are clear and easier to manage.
Warn your friends. Save others the headache.
