I spoke to Alex in Customer Care and he is very knowledgeable about Tax Code and HMRC. It was a pleasure speaking to him and he went " to the nth degree" to assist me. Nothing was too much, just gentle and relaxed. He was so re assuring. He is an asset to this company.

Avoid

I went to Camp Hobson Store, Newbury on Bank Holiday Monday 25.08.25 and could not get a signal on my phone. I tried to get a signal and gave up within 5 mins.I called Just Park to explain but they just took my name,veh reg and gave me abtel number for premium rate number to Johassberg when I thought that I was finally locally to location 1030.

I am not happy so sent email to Heidi Alexander, Secretary for Transport to politely investigate this company and their practices.

VRBO double booked me and payment still pending via my bank

I have written a previous post about UK experience and booking a lodge in Devon and informed by the host that it was double booked.

The new problem is that the Bank is now telling me that transaction is still pending by VRBO.

I have had to increase my Credit Card spending and get another holiday booked. The stress has been considerable.

However, I have learned that the bank can either approve or disapprove the pending transaction . It can take up to 30 days.

I now wish that I had chosen a reputable firm and will never use VRBO again.

I have made a complaint already to VRBO. Please can the latter do the decent thing and cancel my pending payment....

AVOID

I booked a lodge for one week in Devon. I received a confirmation email but then received a message from the host saying double booked.

I have now discovered that the lodge is still available and still being advertised which means that this is likely to happen again.

I called them to inform company of this and my displeasure with their practices. Very amateurish. Wish that I had read their reviews and ratings beforehand.

Will not use again or recommend.
