Review of Asda

Don’t order online from Asda Leyton

Had the craziest experience with Asda online delivery. I ordered a big delivery on Sunday £300, 119 items. Only half the shopping was delivered. I was not informed of this ahead of time and when I said to the driver ‘is that it’ he said yes. I called today and online delivery help confirmed that 51 items were not delivered because the order was too big (so why let me make such a big order?). Had I not called they would just keep this money. Literal thieving. No email saying ‘sorry we couldn’t deliver these items, here’s your refund’ . They didn’t know what items were missing, just that there are 51 of them. I had to go through my cupboards, fridge, freezer locating what was missing (unpaid labour). After sending my refund request it was rejected without reason. I called online grocery back as they had told me to do this and the lady in the phone said she had overrode it and processed a refund. When I got the email it said a refund had been submitted, not processed. More Asda trickery. Also calling Leyton mills store is a joke. None of the people I spoke to had any kind of telephone skills (couldn’t follow conversation, lots of noise during the call, didn’t introduce themselves or job title) I don’t believe it was managers I spoke to as I had been told. Will take up with trading standards.

I sent a request form a month ago to…

I sent a request form a month ago to cancel more yoga and then followed up with an email. I have not been responded to by either. I will now write my original complaint here in the hope of a response. I was dissatisfied for several reasons. Firstly, the instructors’ are not teaching or instructing a class, they are hosting a class in a very lacklustre way. At the beggining of each class I attended I asked for corrections. This only happened when I specifically asked again and only once or twice in each class. Otherwise I was completely lost. I don’t know what each pose means I’m a beginner and it needs explaining. This is what I mean when I say they are hosting the class, basically doing their own morning routine with company. What I was most upset about was that one instructor ended the class by reading from, what I assume is a David Cameron autobiography or something, because it had FA to do with yoga ‘are you all ready to burn any bridges that are keeping you from achieving what you want in life, cutting off all relationships that are holding you back’. WTF??? I don’t want your individualised, neoliberal, gentrified yoga. I’m new to yoga but I understand it as a spiritual practice, and this is not it!!! Please send me my money back ASAP. Also please turn the AC on as standard. The room is stuffy and smelly, and you can certainly afford to switch the AC on

Review of Hawes & Curtis

Appalling customer service, potentially fraudulent company

My parcel from Hawes and Curtis says it has been delivered, but it has not been and no card has been left through my door. I have sent two emails on Monday and yesterday, no reply. And I would love to know how everyone is getting through to their customer service phone number as I have called the number on the email several times and just put on hold for ages then told no support agents can take my call please call back later. It feels like a rogue company at this point and I will be reporting them. It’s crazy, they reply to trustpilot reviews in 2 days and just ignore emails like they are begging for bad reviews!

Scottish power is extremely difficult…

Scottish power is extremely difficult to deal with especially since they moved all their call centres from the UK. I moved out of my property on 31/05/2025 and closed both of my accounts, or so I thought. They had only closed my electric account and are now refusing to close my gas account unless I send them a tenancy agreement. I called a few days ago and someone said they had closed it, now the person I am speaking to says it has not been closed and that they need a tenancy to close it. As if I am sending my personal information to overseas call centres! And they are charging me for gas I’m not using and saying they will put it through to debt collectors and CCJ. This is a bullying company
