I had to wait two months without any updates, until I finally contacted them myself. Luckily, they replied fairly quickly and explained that the item was out of stock. This makes me think that if I hadn’t reached out, they might have just kept the money.
I asked if they could offer a discount or maybe a small gift for the long wait, but they chose to issue a full refund instead—better than nothing. Now I just have to see if the refund actually arrives.
Also, they don’t update the website or mark items as out of stock, which doesn’t seem right to me.
I’m not sure how reliable Shield really is, but their customer service was quite good. As for the product, it will remain a mystery.
