You buy the product version, they perform an automatic update and the product simply stops working — then they try to sell you a newer version!! Absurd! You even try to download your previous version from the website and they don’t make it available! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT! TOTAL SCAM.

We should note that NetSpot doesn't just update itself without your approval. You purchased a license back in 2023, and quite probably either set up automatic updates or just clicked an update option without reading through the prompt. When you were placing your order back then you made the decision not to add Lifetime Upgrades to your license, therefore you knew that major NetSpot upgrades aren't free, we are very open about that policy, as we don't sell subscriptions, unlike others.
Nevertheless, the older versions of NetSpot are downloadable from our website (the download page) at any time, or you can contact our support team if you didn't notice the older versions on our website. Also, our support team has offered you a free upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. An important thing to note here is that this rating is not based on how NetSpot has performed since 2023.
