Dishonest subscription model
I paid £11.99 to download the Effecto app on 18/03/2025. I never actually used the app, but didn't mind paying the initial price to see what it had to offer. I was unaware that they had automatically signed me up for a subscription, there was no email from them to notify me of signing up to their service, no notification that a payment was going to be taken, no subscription visible in Google Play Store. The first I knew of this subscription was when £24.49 was taken via PayPal. Avoid at all cost

Sorry for the frustration. Effecto subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the period ends. If you purchased through our website, the subscription may not show in Google Play. Please email help@effecto.app with your details so we can help resolve this.
