The 'low tyre pressure' warning light was on my dashboard, but I'd checked the tyres myself and they seemed fine. Took the car into Thames View without an appointment and asked for a second opinion. They did a thorough inspection of all the tyres, checked for punctures, checked the rims, inflated a couple that were slightly low etc. When I went to pay, no charge. I queried because, although no faults were found, they'd clearly spent time on it and labour isn't cheap. But no, they waved me off with a cheery smile. How lovely that this still happens! And obviously they'll be my first port of call when I need new tyres again.
