Beware
I was unaware that I had signed up for the app, like others here. Discovered unexpected payments when checking outgoings. I am unable to use the app yet have had multiple charges to my bank account. My bank are aware that Effecto and other similar apps are predatory but want me to contact the company first. I have cancelled all further payments but doubt I’ll ever see a penny back for a service I neither want nor ever used.
Steer clear.
