Review of Dyson
I purchased a spare part for my Dyson Machine before Christmas, but unfortunately it didn't fit. Took advantage of the 35 day return period and Dyson provided a label for me to return it. Returned just after Christmas and was advised it might take 14 working days for my refund -which did seem longer than necessary. However after 15 days I started a chat as I haven't had a refund - I kept being told that unless I had a photograph of my postage there was nothing they could check - even though they had my order number. I was told to go back to the post office and get details of the postage as there was no way they could check whether or not they had my parcel. They made several attempts to finish the chat as there was nothing they could do for me - however I did persist and asked to speak to a manager etc - then after around 40 minutes of back and forward I magically received an email saying that my return has been completed and I would very shortly receive my refund. It was a bit frustrating. However Mr Dyson, one way of improving the system would be to provide your first response call Centre with sufficient information to allow them to properly check the status of returns - rather than just try to fob customers off has happened to me today. It was very disappointing and it did really make me think - do I really want to do business with this company?
