I received the Meater as a gift. I used it for the first time this evening. I grilled a steak over hardwood charcoal. Per the instructions, I seared the sirloin first then, inserted the Meater and placed it on the indirect heat side of the grill (having the cover on about 90%). I continued to monitor the temperature on the app. When it reached the desired temperature, the app notified me, as well as being able to see the core temperature. The steak came out PERFECT! I can’t wait to use the Meater again.
