OfferUp has lost their integrity. RIP.
Been using this for years as experiences and pricing is much better than greed of EBay and safer than Craigslist or FB Marketplace…but as with every good product, this company has lost it’s integrity and has become a GIANT TEMU and AD service, and littered with obvious scams. First, you have to struggle finding real products you’re searching for because there is no differentiation between them and ads. Then, when you win the lotto and find something you’ve been searching for, then you’ll be hit with a multitude of other ads. Their answer to everyone is simply to buy the ‘Premium Package’ to supplement their greed by double-dipping. It’s a shame, and as the old adage goes, All good things must come to an end. RIP OfferUp, you had a good run.

Keeping our community safe is a top priority for us, and we're constantly working on ways to improve our systems for detecting and removing fraudulent listings. We also encourage users to report any suspicious activity so that our team can look into it; scammers are always evolving, and this helps us stay one step ahead.
