I placed an order with Mr D using the Pick n Pay feature for groceries. Shortly after, I realized I had forgotten to add an item, so I used their "Update Order" feature. Instead of simply charging me for the additional item, Mr D charged me the full amount of R580 again, resulting in a total charge of R1,160.

Frustrated, I canceled the order, only to find out that the refund of R580 was credited to my Mr D account instead of being returned to my original payment method. This is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the payout feature states that I now have to wait five business days to get my money back. Considering it’s the festive season, this delay is highly inconvenient.

The lack of a contact number to dispute issues like this is equally disappointing. I’ve been a loyal customer for 10 years, but this experience has made me reconsider using their service in the future.
