When I first got my five funded accounts I was happy and motivated…focused, & excited! but something changed after my first few payouts I started to not take trading serious anymore. I lost my accounts and paid almost $2000 in fees. It sucks I feel prop firms just take advantage of people instead of pushing disciplined behaviors and REAL COMMUNITY. Not just “topstep tv” or a discord but an actual real trading community is lacking. Trading started to feel like a pain and my passion for it faded. I’m trying to find it again. Other than that if I did have to choose a prop firm it would be Topstep. The transparent payout policy is honestly amazing but there are some real traders like me out there that are struggling and I think lack of a real community could be one reason why. It’s a prop firm there should be strong comm. Maybe ambassadors that have their own strategies and traders join into that subcategory of community. Scalper community.. Trend followers..”women” in trading comm…Psychology. There is so much more that can be done. Im working on being more disciplined so I can start my accounts again. Topstep is really the best prop firm out but don’t fall into a hole and start to believe trading is easy after a few payouts. It sucks having to put time in to get those accounts back when you can be making money instead
