very late notice of failure to deliver

Good experience in store, however arranging delivery was problematic. We had 2 missed calls and when returning the calls were warned of a 2 1/2 hour wait for the 1st call, and a 7 hour wait for the 2nd! So on both occasions we drove to the store to sort. Once delivery was finally arranged we were advised of a time slot 10-2, we cleared out and disposed of our furnature the night before, then at 1:30on the delivery day we had a phonecall to say driver had called in sick and delivery would not be made until the following week!! They did manage to reschedule for the same week, but it still meant a days annual leave wasted, (which would not have been the case if we'd notified earlier!) and 3 days without any furnature which was very stressful. When it did turn up on the 2nd attempt, it was on time and Charlie & Nicky did a good job. We are pleased with the furnature.
