We had Warren come over this evening to give us an in person quote for our doors- he took time to explain the product and the different options. We were given a reasonable quote and time to think over our options.

I was gifted the advent calendar and I am extremely disappointed. My husband purchased it at a discount for £250.

Only 12 items: a majority being minuscule charms (4), 2 cheap looking rings, 2 thin necklaces, 2 thin bracelets and 2 pairs of earrings. The items are very fine and cheap looking- I could have purchase similar looking items Claire’s or Lovisa for a fifth of the price.

The rings are pathetic; the birthstone did not fit the setting on the metal ring base. In fact it appeared more like a resin (plastic) heart. The purple hue of my birthstone was tacky against the gold colour of the metal- overall looked like children’s play jewellery. The design of the adjustable ring looked and felt like something I got out of a cereal box in the 90s. The metal had no weight to it, no substance.

I am a plus size lady in her 30s- the tennis necklace was so short it did not fit my neck even on full extension. It is a fine chain but it would be a choker on most normal sized women; maybe a lovely hollow of the neck necklace only for the very slim. For a company that espouses luxury branding and personalisation you think they would allow have sizing for necklaces so that you don’t have a necklace extension that is nearly 10 cm long. The short necklace and long extension may look good from the front in photos but just looks cheap IRL.

Consider the items are gold coloured base metal, not even gold plated I’m appalled. Jewellery is too flimsy to wear daily, tacky and cheap looking for adults; probably ok for a tween/teen. Only looks good if you are petite, some jewellery will not fit if plus size.

Only plus is the packaging is very luxurious, thick substantial cardboard. Each tiny items packed it its own little faux suede pouch, some even with its own microfibre cleaning cloth. If the jewellery isn’t in a pouch you might miss it though as it is so small. A lot of packaging, generates a fair bit of waste.

Overall disappointed; a waste of money.
