Horrific entrepreneurship

We are sorry to report a very bad experience with this company. We used the program for changes in one PDF document in Nov ‘23, and assumed the 0,99 costs were for this one time use. Due to a technical creditcard problem, we were not able to look into our creditcard transfers for quite a long period. Now we do have access to our credit card transfers and found out that we passively paid 13 times 49,99 euro (650 euro) for this service we could not even remember to have used. We contacted the support and they promptly replied, saying they fully understand our concern and will return 6 times 49,99, which they have done. This means however that we still paid 350 euro’s for a subscription we were not aware of. We have never in 13 months received any communication from this company, so we are sorry to assume this is their business model. They don’t want to wake sleeping dogs (paying customers unaware of a subscription). Yes, in the one and only mail we got on the day of use, we now read that if you don’t cancel the trialperiod, the subscription will be automatically renewed. And yes, we made this unaware mistake and are willing to pay for this, we proposed 100 euro. But they report not to be able to refund the money which was transferred more than 6 months ago due to bankrestrictions. This is nonsens, any company can transfer money to a party, if they wish to do so. We feel this company is a scam and should be ashamed of this horrific entrepreneurship.

17-12-24 In addition, although this company asked us (here below) to contact us again and suggest further solutions might be possible, we just get the standard answer that they will not refund the last 250 euro.
