Pet insurance is waste of money, they will let you down
I purchased pet insurance through the Revolut app three years ago. They’ve never had any issues taking my money over the years. However, when I took my cat to the vet for cat flu, they discovered a clause in the policy stating that I needed to complete a full health check for my cat within a year before purchasing the policy. Of course, they didn’t require me to provide the certificate during the purchase process. Instead, they chose to shift this responsibility onto customers. Consequently, they declined my case. In fact, they can decline any case based on this clause, as it violates the insurance’s precondition. This makes the insurance essentially useless, and it raises serious concerns about the company’s trustworthiness.
Fortunately, it was just cat flu, and nothing more serious. This incident made me realize that I shouldn’t trust this company.
I will never work with them again and strongly advise against doing so.
P.S. For anyone who might express regret for my dissatisfaction and request a resolution by writing or calling, I kindly request that you look into the case number 2875195. I have engaged in extensive communication with your company over the past two months.
UPD: Despite they wrote here, no one contacted me. More than that, they closed my case “the claims department can be of no further assistance regarding this matter”.
