I paid £15 for the basic plan and provided all the requested documents. Despite this, I was asked to take a photo with my driver’s license and write “ZipCar” and the date on a large piece of paper beside me. They had my initial photo and driver’s license number, yet they requested all of this again via email without providing any explanation.
I responded to clarify why this additional step was needed and to address any potential misunderstandings. However, I received the same template email response each time, asking me to resend my photo and the paper.
My payment has been accepted, but I have not received any real customer service to resolve this issue. It is frustrating that no one has taken the time to personally address my concerns or make a simple call to sort this out.
