Is Your Customer Care Ridiculing Me?
I wish I had looked at the Trust Pilot reviews before I purchased anything from Prenatal's webshop. Horrible service quality. By the way, don't even bother to call them, no one will pick up the phone.
I have ordered a Maxi Cosi car seat for my baby that's arriving soon. This means the car seat has to be there when the baby is born.
I have placed the order on October 2 and in the delivery options they have asked when I wanted it to be delivered. They should not have proposed October 5th as a possible delivery date if they were not able to ship it on that date.
When the item didn't arrive on time, I called customer care (which nobody picked up) and then I requested an update on my order online (in which they replied several days later) and the answer I received sounds like they are not taking their job or their customers seriously:
''Unfortunately we have a delay in delivery due to a move to a new distribution centre and the mega mazzel dagen.
We apologize for the inconfenience.
When we send your order, you will receive a track and trace code.''
If they are truly sorry about the situation, there are 2 things they could do:
Option (1): Provide a delivery date now. It is unacceptable to provide this loose answer to any customer, let alone an expecting mother. Expecting mothers are legally bound to have a car seat by the time their baby arrives and we do not care whether the company, whom they bought a car seat from, are moving locations. We expect the items to be shipped on the promised date as we do not have the luxury to not have a car seat when the baby arrives. Therefore, this super unserious response sounds like you are ridiculing me.
Option (2): If you are not able to provide a delivery date, you need to cancel my order and refund my money TODAY, so I can work out another solution immediately. I am traveling for the birth next week, so I do not have time to sit around and wait for you to provide me a delivery date.
YOU NEED TO PROVIDE A DELIVERY DATE OR CANCEL MY ORDER ASAP.
