Beware of “restocking fees” for returns

I have ordered once before and the quality of the coat was brand new. My most recent experience I ordered 5 sweaters, the sweaters condition were misrepresented. I liked one of the five, two others were faded and expensive and am returning both. Two were final sale. Of the $164 I spent on the two worn out faded items I am getting $76 back after return label, and their restocking fees. If not for my first experience I would consider this a total scam.

Hi Emily,

Thanks for providing this feedback! Due to the cost it takes to reprocess and relist an item, we do have restocking fees. This is noted in our returns policy. Although, these restocking fees are not applied to items that are not as described, as this is our fault when this happens. Even if an item is a final sale reach out to us and we will make it right!

We do appreciate your feedback and will take this into account. Feel free to contact us https://www.thredup.com/contact so we can further assist in your final sale items!

Expedia bookings do not allow…

Expedia bookings do not allow adjustments after the hotel stay has started. The hotel would have adjusted the stay. Just book directly with hotels, this was a waste of money for a full night we didn’t need for a resolved power outage.
