The Worst VOIP Service I’ve Ever Used – Ooma Cost Me Thousands
Ooma has been, without a doubt, the worst VOIP service I have ever used in my business career. Their platform not only failed to deliver on its promises, but it actively caused me to lose a significant amount of money.
First, my business number was flagged as spam almost immediately, killing my ability to reach customers and damaging my company’s credibility. Then came endless technical issues: calls that wouldn’t connect, text messages that never went through, constant glitches, and dropped connections during critical conversations.
Their billing was equally unreliable, with charges processed incorrectly and without proper notice. Instead of helping my business grow, Ooma became an obstacle I had to constantly work around, costing me both time and revenue.
In short, Ooma has been an absolute disaster for my operations. I would never recommend them to any serious business owner who values reliability, professionalism, and their bottom line. If you depend on your phone system for sales and customer service, stay away from Ooma at all costs.
