My daughters gym shoes fiasco
I’ve never had an issue with Walmart (other than ethically) until it came time to buy my children gym shoes. I purchased two pairs two different sizes identical styles. When I received them, they were not as described. They were not as shown and they did not fit. I initiated a return it said that there is no stores near me for the return and so it offered me a refund for both pairs of shoes. It then gave me confirmation that it was refunded. The seventh came around, and I was refunded for one pair of shoes, but not the other. I’ve contacted staff several times now they say that they have refunded it and that it’s a banking issue. My bank has repeatedly told me that they have only received one deposit from Walmart that there was a second one done. I then contacted Walmart. They said that there was only one refund done for the price of both shoes. I asked to be escalated to their whatever department would investigate this further or to provide me with the ARN numbers for my bank and they cut the conversation stating that they have already given me all of the information and there’s nothing more that they could do for me.
I made the purchase on the fifth. I’ve contacted them about four different times now and I still have not received the refund. As a plus member this is completely unacceptable.
