Does this company actually exist with human beings at the operational helm? How much has AI crept into our consumer experiences, protecting us from scams, dishonest online sales, returns policies; indeed, live chats, complaints and reviews?
I purchased my one and only cleaning kit on a three-month subscription. The essential oils didn’t last long so I commenced ordering a one-off purchase of oils that were more expensive than the subscription. Within this purchase I suddenly have two additional items on ‘offer’ to view on my order but I couldn’t remove them. The order was updated and processed without confirming the order. I immediately emailed customer service.
I received emails quoting company procedures that should they be unable to: remove the extra items; stop the order being processed; cancel the order; stop Evri collecting the order, as I instructed, I would be recompensed with 30% discount if I kept the order as is, then 40%, then 50% discount on all future subscriptions. No thanks to all.
When I received their email advising their compulsory returns policy charge on the order that I have never received, that was tracked on my Evri App as sitting at a logistics hub, and still is, I contacted my bank. The bank very swiftly took control of the refund in full and cancelled my subscription from my Visa.
Warning to cash strapped people - my bank had to give Purdy & Figg the legal 15 days to refund in full; it took Purdy & Figg 12 days to refund me in dribs and drabs, now in full. Therefore, my date of experience is reflected by this final result.
Warning to people that don’t trust databases - you can’t remove your card details, nor remove your personal details, nor cancel your subscription on your account; Purdy and Figg are in control of all these transactions. As of this review my subscription is cancelled on the accounts history but they have retained my personal details and bank details.
This is an awful way to treat a consumer and as such my choice is a ‘minus zero star’ review.
