Review of 7 Cups

Working as a therapist for 7 Cups has…

Working as a therapist for 7 Cups has been and continues to be a powerful, and enriching experience.
I also have a private practice which I
really enjoy too. But in 7 Cups I have the opportunity to work with a very diverse and international population.
The app makes therapy more affordable and accessible to more people. To me this is very important. Therapy can feel very intimidating, but because of the anonymous texting format clients can feel safer.
I have one client that is hearing impaired so they really appreciate the texting format.
If clients do need more, there is also the Telehealth option (live video and audio therapy) which means that they can sign up for the Telehealth subscription on 7 Cups. This includes one 45 minute scheduled video session on the secure confidential 7 Cups platform.
I am a better therapist because of the ongoing learning and growth I
experience as a mental health provider on 7 Cups!

I work as a therapist on 7 Cups

I work as a therapist on 7 Cups. I really enjoy and appreciate this opportunity to keep expanding my skills as a mental health provider.
However my job at 7 Cups would be much harder if Lisa Meighan was not my supervisor. She is my ‘go to’ person for any difficulties I encounter, whether they be technical or with a client.
Lisa is kind, empathic, knowledgeable, willing, and very efficient.
She pays attention to the details, and all this makes a big difference. Plus she also works as a therapist so she understands.
Being a therapist is often hard work, but Lisa makes me feel like I matter-I feel seen and heard. This is so important.
Lisa is a gem, and I feel like a gem working for her!
