More efficient to buy from movie theater instead of through Tickets at Work

I bought 4 tickets for Regal plus two small popcorns. I then used the voucher from Tickets at Work to buy the tickets from the Regal app. I then will use the popcorn vouchers at the theater. When you consider the taxes and fees that Tickets at Work charges then the taxes and fees that the Regal app charged, the total cost is the same as if I had bought the tickets directly from Regal. Given the time it took to make a purchase through Tickets at Work then through the Regal app (I had to manually input the voucher number for each ticket), better to avoid Tickets at Work and buy directly from the movie theater.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us. We understand how frustrating it can be when things don’t go as smoothly as expected, especially when trying to make the most of discounts and vouchers. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you faced during the ticket purchase process.

We recognize that manually entering voucher numbers and dealing with multiple layers of taxes and fees can be time-consuming and far from the seamless experience we strive to offer. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’ll share it with our team as we continue to improve the overall guest experience.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We look forward to assisting you further.

$28 savings, clumsy ticket purchase and concession process

I bought 4 Premiere e-tickets and 2 Snack Pack Combos for Regal Movie Theatres for $57.06. I had the option of using the voucher to buy the tickets at the movie theater or through the Regal app. To ensure I got seats ahead of time, I used the app and had to pay an additional $8.08 in fees. If I bought the tickets through the Regal Movie Theatres website for 3 adults and a child, the price including taxes and fees would have been $75.97. Then, the cost of the snack pack at the Theatre would have cost about $17. Total cost for Tickets at Work plus the Regal app fees was $65.14. Total cost if I had bought through Regal website and bought the snack pack at the theatre would have been about $93. Saved about $28, nearly a third of full price. Using the Regal app was clumsy because I had to enter a 15 digit code for each ticket. Then I had to print out a voucher for each snack pack. The cashier was not familiar with it so they had to ask a manager to ensure we could use the voucher. While we saved $28, it took a while to make the purchases through a clumsy app interface and the process of obtaining our snacks through the concessions took a while so we did not get to our seats until 5 minutes after the advertised start time. Thankfully, they had not started the previews yet.
