Product paid for - not received and not refunded!!!
Product paid for but not received and monies were not refunded. I had ordered a product in Switzerland in November 2023, and as the product was sent to the wrong address (as notified by me) I had to wait for the product to be returned before I could make the purchase again. Unfortunately the returns process took months and I was even issued a penalty warning.
Upon calling Douglas customer service, I was advised to fully pay for the product and the penalty and was reassured once the product had been returned in the system, I would be refunded in full. Unfortunately this has not happened. I received a refund of a couple of Swiss francs for the penalty I paid but nothing to date has been received for the product which was more than CHF60.
I reached out to Douglas Customer Service many times and without providing proof of any refund they dismissed my case by simply repeating that all had been refunded. I have checked my bank multiple times and nothing has been received from Douglas. I have repeatedly asked for proof of the refund that Douglas have claimed to make e.g., reference number, date of payment ... etc but this has all fallen on deaf ears and masked behind the need for data privacy (which in this case does not make sense as I am only asking for information relating to me). I am a consumer who paid for a product and 7 months later, I don't have a refund or a product .. this equates to daylight robbery.
