Love the sofas (Twin Sofa-Bed)

Love the sofas (Twin Sofa-Bed). You need at least two strong people to assemble them because they are super heavy and have to be flipped over. 4/5 since the mattress topper doesn't actually fit properly in the storage compartment without a lot of folding and squishing. This has already started to cause some wear and tear. Overall happy with them after 8 months.

Mixed feelings

Our experience with Cubro is a mixed bag. The overall interaction with both sales and design teams was friendly and helpful, but we faced some issues that impacted our satisfaction.

We felt some pressure to finalise the design and make the payment quickly, yet there were numerous points of confusion during the planning phase due to the lack of a dedicated project manager. Since we had to navigate the design process with IKEA separately, the disconnect made it difficult to determine which appliances were compatible. After double checking, we were given the go-ahead by Cubro for a specific dishwasher, which later turned out to be incompatible. Our joiner struggled for a whole day trying to fit it, and we ended up having to sell it privately, buy another and absorb the costs.

We were only informed about acclimatisation period at the last minute, which also delayed the installation longer than anticipated, and it was fortunate that we had enough space to lay out the entire kitchen for several days. Some pieces arrived in the wrong sizes, requiring a second courier delivery. And still, a drawer front was missing, which meant we had to keep rearranging the joiner. Cubro were helpful and accepted the fault, but this all delayed the project and cost us money.

The joins in the worktop feel unfinished/unprotected, and we have not been able to align the fronts perfectly, which I find bothersome. Additionally, the oak veneer is already showing signs of wear on the edges and corners after just a few months.

While the kitchen doesn't quite have the premium quality I expected, the price was a lot lower than some of the other options. So overall, Cubro offers decent value, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.

2. Compatibility Checks: Our fronts are compatible with IKEA's system, but unfortunately sometimes we have problems to evaluate other providers, specially if those models do not exist in Spain. However, we have strengthened our compatibility check process with all appliances and materials to prevent any future issues like the one you faced with your dishwasher. 3. Installation and Acclimatisation: Our team now provides detailed information about the acclimatisation and assembly well in advance through our HelpCenter, avaliable since the begining of the process.

Tripp Trapp High Chair

The Tripp Trapp high chair and it's accessories from Stokke are some of the best baby products we bought. We have had the chair for 3 years since our baby was newborn and it has lasted really well and is in great condition still even though it has been heavily used. 10/10 recommend.

Review of Sebra Interior

Poor quality & Dangerous

I had three pieces of Sebra children's furniture all of which were poor quality and dangerous. It would be unacceptable for a cheap brand, not to mention one that positions itself as premium.

Wardrobe: The shelves are poorly secured and heavy, they will bow within weeks and inevitably collapse.

Changing Table with Drawers: A dowel snapped causing the frame to splay and resulting in the drawers falling to the ground.

Baby & Junior Bed: A supporting leg snapped, posing a huge risk to children who sleep in this bed. There are also some design flaws to the extended junior bed, like exposed screws and square corners which diminish the look, feel and safety.

We are a family that appreciates good quality design and take care of our stuff, and I sincerely never experienced something so flimsy/poorly made that 3 different items broke within a couple of years. It's really a pity. It's marketed as generational furniture that can be passed from child to child, but if you have a problem, beware that they will blame you for "pulling the furniture inconveniently, overloading it or applying some external impact."

Let alone it being completely overpriced, I would never recommend leaving your children around this dangerous furniture.

Thank you for taking the time to make a review, even if it’s only a 1-starred one. We are of course very sorry, that you have had a bad experience with all three pieces of Sebra furniture that you purchased 3 years ago.
First of all, we wish to point out that quality and safety are of the highest importance to Sebra, and all of our furniture is tested and approved according to all required European standards e.g. when it comes to safety and health.
It is important to claim a damage as soon as possible after discovering it, and when we evaluate a claim, we consider several things – e.g. when was the product purchased and when was it claimed (in this case after 3 years of use), photos of the damages, the warranty and signs of misuse /mismaintain.
We do sell a lot of furniture and have never seen an issue like the one you have reported in your claim.
As mentioned to the retailer where you purchased the furniture, it is possible to purchase spare parts, for some of the furniture, so you can continue to using them.
