Following an ordeal of intentional delays of medical bill acceptance and misallocation of policy emails I contacted DKV head office to mitigate further issues.
A complete waste of time : questions were still not answered, delay tactics continue in what can only be assumed to be company method in order to avoid their contractual obligations, aka PAY REFUND !
Additionally I had to learn, that Emergency room visits ARE NOT COVERED !
A useless, expensive policy, incompetent, malintended personel and philosophy.
Rip off !!
Stay away !!

Useless, rip-off policy despite Premium plan Mundisalud with supposed worldwide coverage and choice of medics.
Have had medical treatment abroad with two operations (one on each hand) and subsequent post operative treatment.
They refuse to reimburse incurred costs.
Modern theft.
Stay away.

UPDATE : Firstly after reapplying for said refund 4 weeks ago I have not heard anything, except having received a message about a declined reimbursement for an emergency hospital treatment.
That’s right folks : if you injure yourself and rush to the emrgency room, DKV does not pay !!!
But wait, it gets better : this was not MY treatment or policy, but my wife’s.

Summary : Fraudulent, useless insurance which is so incompetent that they misallocate correspondence.
Waste of money. Modern theft which will get you into trouble because YOU ARE NOT COVERED FOR ANYTHING ! Not even EMERGENCY at a hospital.
