Flourish and Thrive very drying to my hair

I brought both Flourish and Thrive and religiously used these products over a period of 5 months. I purchased a total of 4 bottles of Flourish and 3 bottles Thrive. Both products left my natural hair feeling very dry and brittle. I found Thrive to be very harsh on my scalp; the burning sensation was unexpected and not very pleasant especially when used after newly washed hair.

Unfortunately, I did not see any results from either product. In fact, during the 5th month of use my hair started to shed which I found quite alarming. I am aware that there may be some shedding during the early stage of use, but I wasn't expecting shedding after over 20 weeks of use. To preserve the hair I had left, I stopped using both Flourish and Thrive and cancelled my subscription.

I have since consulted with an independent trichologist and have started laser treatment for hair loss to be followed by PRP. Thankfully, my hair has stopped shedding, and I am hopeful that I will see results over the coming months.

Our Flourish and Thrive Serums are both lightweight, water-based formulations designed to hydrate and soothe the scalp, not dry it out. They’re enriched with clinically proven ingredients that help reduce dandruff, calm irritation, and create a healthy environment for stronger hair growth. It’s very unusual to hear feedback about dryness, especially as the serums are intended for the scalp only and not to be applied directly to the hair strands.

Regarding the burning sensation you experienced, this could indicate a sensitivity or allergic reaction to one of the natural active ingredients. If any irritation occurs, we always recommend stopping use immediately and reaching out to us so we can help. It’s surprising that you continued for five months while experiencing discomfort, we’d have loved the opportunity to assist and guide you sooner.
