Review of Vinted UK
As a long-time user of Vinted, I’m increasingly frustrated with how poorly the platform handles disputes — especially when buyers file fraudulent claims. In every case where a buyer claims an item was damaged or not as described, Vinted automatically sides with them, leaving sellers completely out of pocket.
My most recent experience involved a buyer who covered the item I sent in a thick, creamy liquid — which in no way matched the clear, runny liquid it was actually packaged with. It was clearly tampered with, yet Vinted still refunded the buyer. In another case, a buyer claimed I only sent half a bottle of product. Let’s be honest — if I were going to send a half-used product (which I wouldn’t), I’d at least top it up with water or something else. But Vinted didn’t even give me a chance to explain — just instantly refunded them.
There’s absolutely no seller protection, no real investigation into claims, and no accountability for buyers who abuse the system. It’s demoralising and unfair. I’m now seriously reconsidering whether I want to continue using the platform.

I have started selling quite a few bits on Vinted and I’ve had a pretty good experience overall. However I was recently frustrated when I sent a parcel, wrapped and packaged appropriately which was damaged in transit. These buyer has been refunded but I’m out of pocket as vinted are blaming me (as they have many others) that it was my fault for not providing adequate packing. This is completely untrue. I tried to appeal but just kept getting automated replies. Buyer protection is fine, but they should offer the seller protection that comes as standard with most couriers. In their own terms, they do state that they will compensate sellers. From what I can see from comments from others, this nearly never happens.

I can’t necessarily rate my experience whilst I was a customer of AXA as I never needed to call upon my health insurance to make a claim. Setting up the policy was easy, and I was sent all of the paperwork … i seemed to have very comprehensive cover. Although I’d never used it, the policy did go up quite a bit each year so I took the decision to cancel my policy.
I have given axa 1 star because i am now being sent letters, texts and telephone calls about my insurance policy. Each time they say that if I don’t respond they’ll assume I’m no longer wishing to continue my cover. And yet the communications continue. I’ve had to resort to blocking them on my phone just to get them to leave me alone.
