Unfair Return Policy & Poor Customer Service

I ordered two speakers from Argos — including the Creative Pebble — just to test them out and decide which one I preferred. After a brief trial at home, I decided to return both, since I found a better option online.

When I went to return them, Argos only accepted one. They refused to take back the Creative Pebble, claiming there was dust on the bottom and the wires had been untangled — and that this counted as evidence of use. I find that ridiculous. How else are you meant to test a product? I would never return something I hadn’t used at all — it’s the entire point of a return window.

This happened at the Waltham Cross branch, where the staff were unhelpful and inconsistent. One speaker was fine to return, but the other — in identical condition — was not. It felt like the staff were being difficult for no reason.

Argos seriously needs to review its return policy and retrain its team. I won’t be shopping here again.

Not bad but could do more.

Easy to find and no hassle wooodve been nice they cleaned the car before I picked it up though. There’s a handcar wash company around the corner embedded the petrol station. I’m not sure if this can be part of the package but it would’ve been nice if they fully cleaned the car interior and exterior.
I was gone for 10 days so coming back to a dusty car with dirt on my mat wasn’t what I’d want to see.
