Great experience at Balfe’s Reigate / Online

Outstanding purchase experience from professionals who really take pride in serving customers.
Picked up my New Trek today at the Reigate store, bike set up ready to go, chap helped me buy some accessories and quickly fitted some I had taken off my previous Trek Bike.
Honestly I don’t know how it could be better, but I am sure they will try.
Definitely going back for service on this and my BMC road bike…

Poor Quality

Poor quality - feel stupid I bought the cameras: made a big ish order … service team efficient at settling claims / making refund offers.
I settled on 75% refund v hassle of packing
(In original flimsy packaging) and sending back to China… pretty clear not straightforward and at my (Customer) cost!
At least I got the refund promptly I guess.
The services staff were very efficient.
But lost almost £100…

Great service but return Brexit friction

Product didn’t suit me, whilst customer service agent Joanna was great … no return label so £8.00 to send back to Belfast, Brexit! = Customs declaration. I also lost the original tax and shipping fees.
Positively it was a no quibble return (as t should be 14 days etc) and I got the cost of the item shown on Instagram back.
Clearly Brexit wasn’t the fault of W&H but as a consumer on mainland UK it certainly costs its customers money.

No gloves - didn’t read any of the delivery instructions

Sadly I don’t think the two people delivering on behalf of Kettler had any understanding of your “white glove” ethos… certainly not able to read delivery instructions… called me twice for the same information they already had. Didn’t fancy getting out of the van, I was asked to meet them… Working so not ideal.
