How dare you ask for measurements!

Bought Outlanders but they weretoo narrow so I asked for insole measurements of other boots and somehow ended up feeling like I’d requested the secret ingredient in Irn Bru. Shame really — lovely shoes, just not much sole in the service. Got more help from strangers on FB. Sadly gave up after being made to feel stupid for asking. Not got the staff apparently. Returned everything & will spend my £ in a more accommodating barefoot shop! Lems should feel ashamed.

Where can I find a fiery vegan ginger beer???

I at first tried the normal (alcoholic of course) ginger beer and thought it was fine,it missed the earthy darkness the likes of nonvegan Crabbies has and unfortunately can't find a good enough vegan replacement. I more recently tried the Tropical and it is good, even tasty and will be happy to buy more. I really need to find a dark vegan incredibly fiery alcoholic ginger beer... I'm yet to find it though!!

Pale skin, need spf 50 don't buy this

I have a very pale complexion, I'm Scottish with strawberry blonde hair and blue eyes. I need to wear spf 30-50 all year. Trying to find the best eco, healthy & reef safe spf 50 to protect me in the UK sun (and abroad). I put this on 30mins before sun,it was the UK but I burnt. Don't buy this if you need spf 50 & have fair/sensitive skin. You'll come home burnt. :(

Owned by Unilever NOT sustainable

Now owned by Unilever completely detracts from any positivity. Now not cruelty free. Not sustainable. Feel upset, disappointed and disgusted. Luckily other subscription deodorants are 100%plastic free and Fussy refills fit into Wild cases. I wouldn't buy or support Unilever. Also it burns my skin after using for just over 7 days and is very crumbly. Wish I'd tried AKT (no plastic at all) or Fussy (at least I still can buy their refills).

I'm quite disgusted with all your copy & paste replies to everyone about this and it's embarrassing, shows you are now a one size fits all sell out big company or otherwise you'd set the record straight ASAP. To say you're still focused on getting rid of single use plastic isn't enough, so are a lot of better companies with better products. I now have products which cause me burning rash and who I can't trust due to being owned by Unilever, one of the most unethical companies. They are just trying to monopolise the industry whilst reducing quality, ethics and ruining smaller businesses.

Hello Laura,

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts with us - we really value this.

There's always speculation about game-changing businesses like Wild, but we cannot comment on market speculation at this time. We can assure you we remain focused on our mission to remove single use plastic from bathrooms all around the world and we continue to be Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society certified. Doing deodorant differently has always been our priority and we won’t waver from this, whatever the future holds. Please rest assured that Wild products will never be tested on animals and will always fit into a Vegan lifestyle

We're really sorry to hear that you've had a reaction to one of our deodorants - the skin under your arms is one of the most sensitive parts of the body and we find that a small number of customers react to the deodorant. There could be a number of causes, including an allergy to one of the ingredients. If it's not an allergy, we've found the biggest culprit is the small amount of bicarbonate of soda we use in the deodorant which can upset the pH of your underarms (as your sweat is acidic whereas the bicarbonate of soda is alkaline). We do however have a Sensitive Refill range which does not contain bicarbonate of soda, making it even more gentle on the skin. If you do decide to stick with us, please do contact us through out contact form so that we can help you find products that will suit your skin

Please rest assured that if there is ever any change to how we work, we will let our most loyal customers know right away. There are no changes to report at the moment, but we’ll make sure to keep our customers updated with all important Wild news, whatever it is

Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts with us

Wild Wishes

I don't understand why this company is…

I don't understand why this company is getting some bad reviews. I ordered a great large wallet and lima handbag and they are both well constructed, have lots of organisation pockets etc but not too many.
Ive had both for well over 1 year and have used them weekly and they still look as new.
I can only give my honest experience and often you're more focused on reviewing companies who wrong you, but some companies do so well and get lost. Its important to try to give balanced reviews.
I would buy again from this company :)

Very sad as wished to buy myself and bf…

Very sad as wished to buy myself and bf a good pair of Solovair boots to last a lifetime. Was aware they were having issues with fake websites but after lots of investigation bought online 3 boots (x2 for me in wider size i measured the length of both our feet, checked the updated sizing think 5200 and 409 i think derby were one) but when they arrived the female size 6 &6.5 and unisex size 11 neither of us could get our feet into the toe pocket. We really didn't want to buy from DM as they're no lo ger the same and wanted ones to last so more ethical...did research and came across Solovair. Emailed the company x2 but no reply on whst size to buy. Im normally size 6 but to just get my foot in id likely need to buy a size 8, which are far too big.
It's more the fact we got no reply from both our emails...im now basically stuck with buying DM or NewRock...the latest which are difficult to try as they are mainly based in Spain.
Im not sure what to do...id simply like a reply from Solovair re: what boots might fit as this can't be the 1st time this issues has been highlighted?
If you could please get back to me Solovair even saying sorry we can't help would be a start (its not obvious but it costs £5 each to return, which is difficult to find at all on rhe website).
Thanks
Update: thanks for your reply. I did find your emel you sent 14.9.23 so thank you for this. Im still concerned that it's more the toe pocket which is very tight, not the length but will send you a picture of our feet and see what you suggest but just don't want to have to return for a refund as its a strange dimension to not fit. I hope you understand what we mean. Thanks for your reply and will take your advice.

Hello Laura, thank you for your message and I am sorry that you feel that your experience with us has been less than satisfactory. I can confirm that following your email to our help desk on the 14 September a response was issued to you on the same day. I can only conclude that this went to your junk email so it was not seen. I have copied below what my colleague sent for ease of reference. We would be more than happy to assist you in sizing if you did want to contact us and confirm your order number also if the boots purchased were bought from us directly. I do hope that you will re-visit your review given the circumstances and be assured we are here when you need us and would be very happy to get you wearing Solovairs with comfort.

"HI Laura,
Thank you for your message, I am sorry you have not found the correct size. Please feel free to send me your foot measurement and the boot each measurement is for and I will see what I can recommend.
We do not have any stores in Salford or Manchester unfortunately. We do offer free exchanges, it is only return for refund that incurs the £5 charge."

Kind regards,
Karen

I bought 3 pairs of period pants and…

I bought 3 pairs of period pants and followed their size guide (feeling cosy (huge), feeling free(really huge), feeling sporty heavy (most true to size)They are not true to fit and do not trust their 'easy returns' process as I followed their returns process and was told that I had prewashed the returned pants, which is disgusting. They said they will return me these 'prewashed' pants & exchange 1 pair due to their 100% garantee returns. This only now being related to 1 type of pants x1, makes it impossible to buy different types for different days in your period,as they admit on their website that they sometimes need to size up or down. I've found this advice unhelpful as the ones i should have sized up arrived huge. I would never 'prewash' pants when pictures of them are obviously vastly bigger than ones which fit...why would i prewash pants before i even try them on over pants? Ive been told they'll exchange 1 pair &return the prewashed ones. Why would I want this? Now im thinking they could do this to hide sending you out prewashed or preworn pants, which is disgusting. Now if, as they say, they can tell pants which haven't been washed and returned are, then how can you tell that the ones sent out in the 1st place have been preworn. You only receive a parcel, the pants smell as they do..you do nothing..now they say they can tell they've been washed...NOT BY ME SO BY WHO?
I'd not trust them, not trust the returns process, not trust ones sent haven't been preused eeeewwww. Sad as it is you can't trust some small local companies...is Amazon the actual only way forward. This is sad news. Made me sign up to Trustpilot as am fed up of 'pop up' companies taking advantage of good people & other great small, local companies.

My reply to their refund: Thanks for the refund, which should have ethically been provided in the 1st place due to there being nothing wrong with the returned pants. I wanted to work with them as they do, in my opinion, once you have figured out the poor sizing advice, which was repeated through emails asking for help with sizing, have the best period pants, based upon one pair out of 3 which happened to fit. There communication was horrible and the outcome was basically I had rewashed them or returned used ones... Instead of speaking with me, givig me the benefit of the doubt, as if never send back worn pants esp. Period pants... Is just disgusting. There could have been a many number of reasons why the pants may have smelt different a) they sent me prewashed/worn ones in the 1st place as a customer you have no idea what their natural smell is b) they were somehow near my washing and although highly unlikely picked up a bit of the smell of washing powder (even though I use u fragrances free Homethings non-bio clothes detergent for my underwear, they really smell of nothing) c) they got my return mixed up d) didn't want to refund me, instead insulted me and would have sent me out the pants they feel were prewashed and exchange 1 pair which I could not have trusted if they came from their 'charity pile' in the 1st place. How would I know? Especially, if they were happy to send me out pants they apparently diagnosed as being prewashed/worn as this was not by me, so to return these with the 'exchange' without me knowing if they had been prewashed/used and if I needed to return these 1 new pair I'd likely get the same response... Sorry our returns manager smelt they had been washed so your not getting these refunded either.... So be very wary of this company, who do lie as they said my returned pants had been prewashed/worn.
No they never were by me... Only other option if cheeky wipes are 100% sure enough to loose a potential loyal customer to say they had been prewadhed and no refund would be given is logically that they had been prior to sending them to me in the 1st place... Especially as they now say they have a charity pile of such pants. If a customer has provided you a picture of how big the others were compared to the ones I kept.... Why not believe they didn't wear them as they wouldn't even stay up... The feeling free leapard print ones were not even tried on as you can see from the pic sent were huge.
Really poor and arrogant service, not something I'd expect from a smaller company like you.
Advice: if you know ur size & know you're going to keep then try them but just don't expect any reasonable never mind kind or ethical customer service. If I didn't write this review they wouldn't have refunded me... I don't need £24 & would be happy to buy new pairs to give to charity (not preworn ones) but unfortunately not from this company as I can't guarantee buying the correct size & can't deal with being insulted it's no way of fixing a relationship, which is obviously not on top of their list. No point in a good product but rude & concerning customer service I.e? worn pants being sent!

Hi Laura,

Thanks for taking the time to review your order. I do apologise for any offence caused but on opening the parcel, our warehouse manager was concerned that the returned items smelt of washing powder.

You would maybe be surprised to note how many customers do send back used or washed pants and I can assure you that we would never resell them but add them to our donations area and are then able to send them on to the many charities and women's shelters we work with. As per the email I sent you this morning, we have refunded you for the returned pants.

As a team, we pride ourselves on being able to offer experience based advice on sizing, styles and which pants/pads are best for individual flow and I can see that both Kirstin and Erika were working with you to achieve this with the right end result. It's a shame that despite this you feel like you wouldn't trust us or our processes.

As a small independent business, we know we are up against the big guns like Amazon and other high street retailers and are pleased with how we compare in terms of pricing, range and most importantly personal advice.
We have been advising customers on making the switch to reusables for almost 15 years so wouldn't term ourselves as a pop up and would never take advantage of our customers.

I'm sorry you haven't had the experience we would both have hoped for.
Warm regards,
Jo
