I bought 3 pairs of period pants and…
I bought 3 pairs of period pants and followed their size guide (feeling cosy (huge), feeling free(really huge), feeling sporty heavy (most true to size)They are not true to fit and do not trust their 'easy returns' process as I followed their returns process and was told that I had prewashed the returned pants, which is disgusting. They said they will return me these 'prewashed' pants & exchange 1 pair due to their 100% garantee returns. This only now being related to 1 type of pants x1, makes it impossible to buy different types for different days in your period,as they admit on their website that they sometimes need to size up or down. I've found this advice unhelpful as the ones i should have sized up arrived huge. I would never 'prewash' pants when pictures of them are obviously vastly bigger than ones which fit...why would i prewash pants before i even try them on over pants? Ive been told they'll exchange 1 pair &return the prewashed ones. Why would I want this? Now im thinking they could do this to hide sending you out prewashed or preworn pants, which is disgusting. Now if, as they say, they can tell pants which haven't been washed and returned are, then how can you tell that the ones sent out in the 1st place have been preworn. You only receive a parcel, the pants smell as they do..you do nothing..now they say they can tell they've been washed...NOT BY ME SO BY WHO?
I'd not trust them, not trust the returns process, not trust ones sent haven't been preused eeeewwww. Sad as it is you can't trust some small local companies...is Amazon the actual only way forward. This is sad news. Made me sign up to Trustpilot as am fed up of 'pop up' companies taking advantage of good people & other great small, local companies.
My reply to their refund: Thanks for the refund, which should have ethically been provided in the 1st place due to there being nothing wrong with the returned pants. I wanted to work with them as they do, in my opinion, once you have figured out the poor sizing advice, which was repeated through emails asking for help with sizing, have the best period pants, based upon one pair out of 3 which happened to fit. There communication was horrible and the outcome was basically I had rewashed them or returned used ones... Instead of speaking with me, givig me the benefit of the doubt, as if never send back worn pants esp. Period pants... Is just disgusting. There could have been a many number of reasons why the pants may have smelt different a) they sent me prewashed/worn ones in the 1st place as a customer you have no idea what their natural smell is b) they were somehow near my washing and although highly unlikely picked up a bit of the smell of washing powder (even though I use u fragrances free Homethings non-bio clothes detergent for my underwear, they really smell of nothing) c) they got my return mixed up d) didn't want to refund me, instead insulted me and would have sent me out the pants they feel were prewashed and exchange 1 pair which I could not have trusted if they came from their 'charity pile' in the 1st place. How would I know? Especially, if they were happy to send me out pants they apparently diagnosed as being prewashed/worn as this was not by me, so to return these with the 'exchange' without me knowing if they had been prewashed/used and if I needed to return these 1 new pair I'd likely get the same response... Sorry our returns manager smelt they had been washed so your not getting these refunded either.... So be very wary of this company, who do lie as they said my returned pants had been prewashed/worn.
No they never were by me... Only other option if cheeky wipes are 100% sure enough to loose a potential loyal customer to say they had been prewadhed and no refund would be given is logically that they had been prior to sending them to me in the 1st place... Especially as they now say they have a charity pile of such pants. If a customer has provided you a picture of how big the others were compared to the ones I kept.... Why not believe they didn't wear them as they wouldn't even stay up... The feeling free leapard print ones were not even tried on as you can see from the pic sent were huge.
Really poor and arrogant service, not something I'd expect from a smaller company like you.
Advice: if you know ur size & know you're going to keep then try them but just don't expect any reasonable never mind kind or ethical customer service. If I didn't write this review they wouldn't have refunded me... I don't need £24 & would be happy to buy new pairs to give to charity (not preworn ones) but unfortunately not from this company as I can't guarantee buying the correct size & can't deal with being insulted it's no way of fixing a relationship, which is obviously not on top of their list. No point in a good product but rude & concerning customer service I.e? worn pants being sent!
