Damaged Monstera 'Burle Marx Flame' - Customer Service Zero
I placed my second order with this company for soil (which is outstanding) and another pricey plant as my first order was great. Sadly with this company when something goes wrong they do not deal with it in the same manner as their polished marketing!
In my second order 25958 including a Monstera 'Burle Marx Flame' the plant has two of its main stem snapped. This was not immediately apparent, it did not look quite right in the pot so I checked the roots as it was a present for my mother (a wish list plant), on removing it from the pot I see the two main stems had been completely snapped, so this much have been done prior to packaging, so disappointing.
I emailed the company as detailed on their website, clearly explaining the issue and sending SEVEN detailed images on the 27/3, chased them on the 2/4 to be told they had replied from a Kojo email, I have no record of this but it may have been treated as junk as this was not who I was expecting to hear from. I have now sent 5 emails, they have not replied or resolved the issue.
From first glance this company looks amazing, the website the marketing, I really felt comforted by this thinking if there was ever an issue it would be dealt with and placed this second order for an expensive plant, sadly their customer service does not match the marketing. Such a shame, I would use this company for substate as it is outstanding but for plants it is a no from me. It has been a week since this order arrived, I have chased them several times with no response.

I would also like to add that if the stems had snapped and were out in the air they would have callused over but they were not open to the air, they had been buried under the substrate. You are incorrect in this instance.
It has been a fight to get you to reply and correct the situation. I am very disappointed as all I have asked for is to return the plant for a refund, not keep it for free. I ordered a plant that was healthy without snapped stems, as shown on the website. I would not have paid £120 for two snapped stems.
