Why has Costco joined the Price-Gougers Club ? How do they justify a $400 price increase on this item

I looked at it a couple of weeks ago and just checked into your website as I know my membership has expired and I wanted to renew so I could buy this thing. It's no longer a good buy compared to other retailers. Same price as everyone else so why call yourself a wholesaler. LOL

There are just specific items that I go to Costco for. (I prefer a small healthy whole foods/organic-oriented grocer.) Costco's prices are not much of a bargain either. I bought organic Greek style yogurt which was $11.49 for a double container. Same item selling at Save-on for $6.49 ea. and you don't have to buy two. (and of course, that's the thing, everything is jumbo size so I think small families probably end up wasting a lot of food). For the odd dollar you save here and there, factoring in the membership cost, it's not much of a saving (if any) considering you always walk out of there with way more than you need. Their prices keep inching up and up. They must be making billions so why so greedy ?

Thus far, I have found Amazon.ca to be extremely convenient and they do carry hard to find little items, without having to comb the retail stores for them. Having said that, I do try to give our local retailers my business when I can, as the Big Guys are taking over the marketplace.
I have ordered several items and books from Amazon and they were all delivered very quickly to my door (Prime). I've had one return and it was super easy and convenient. Certain items are over priced and I cannot fathom why Amazon.ca is at times ridiculously more expensive than their US counterpart even with the exchange rate. (uh..Canadians do comparison shopping too Mr. Bozo)
Prime tv is quite disappointing. For example, the Mrs. Maizle series was great except for the painful gutter level dialogue. Do their writers really think the general public cannot say a single sentence without multiple "F" words, and any other vulgar expletive thrown in. It ruined an otherwise enjoyable show. And the movies most often end without an 'ending'.
So there's my two cents worth of opinion. 😏
